Below is information in regards to our fees and payments, appointment types, results process, our facilities and feedback.

 

Fee & Payment

We are a mixed billing practice and fees are payable at the time of consultation.

Urgent medical problems will be dealt with utmost priority.

All new patients will be a long consultation.

During the Day Fees (Monday to Friday- 09:00am to 06:00pm):

Consultation Fees: Medicare Card Holders

  • Full fee is to be paid at the time of the consultation
  • Any consumables used or procedures performed during the consultation will incur a separate out of pocket cost with no Medicare rebate
  • Telehealth appointments will incur the same fee as face-to-face consultations.

  • Full fee is to be paid at the time of the consultation
  • Any consumables used or procedures performed during the consultation will incur a separate out of pocket cost
  • Extended consultations will incur a higher full fee ($169.00)
  • Private/privately insured patients do not possess a Medicare card, so they are not entitled to Medicare rebate
  • Telehealth appointments will incur the same fee as face-to-face consultations.

Please note:

  • There is no out of pocket cost for mental health plans, health assessments, chronic disease management and team care arrangements.
  • Aged pensioners, DVA pensioners and children under 16 years of age may have no out of pocket cost for During the Day appointments. Please check with the reception.
  • There is a reduced fee for concession card holders for During the Day appointments.
  • No out of pocket costs and reduced fees for concession card holders are not available for consultations for Dr Saud for During the Day appointments.

After Hours fees:

Sunday All Day

No out of pocket cost for the categories Aged pensioners, DVA pensioners and children under 16 years of age and a reduced fee for concession card holders is not applicable for Sunday consultation.

Please Note: No Medicare rebate is available for urgent care services/procedures.

Additional Fees:

  • Urgent care services/Procedures/ Additional services/Treatment room material used during procedures(Cryotherapy, dressings, Plaster Rolls, Ventolin mask, ECG etc) Fees – Please contact reception for further information.
  • Full fee is payable on the day of Workcover and TAC consultation until the claim number is provided.

Payment for services rendered

We accept EFTPOS and credit card payments

Appointments

  • Consultations are by appointment.
  • Our clinic operates on a standard appointment system.
  • If you need more time with the doctor, please advise the receptionist when you make your booking.
  • When you are a new patient to our clinic, please attend the surgery 10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for patient registration.
  • The practice routinely sends SMS appointment reminders to patients.

Telehealth

You can book telehealth appointment ( telephone or Video call) with our doctors and get high quality care without coming to practice.

Same fees as face to face consultation fees for all categories including Medicare and no Medicare card holders will apply to Telehealth consultations

Cancellations

Providing notice allows us to offer your appointment to another patient who may need to see a doctor more urgently. When a patient does not show for a scheduled appointment, it means that another patient loses an opportunity to be seen. In an attempt to avoid this, we have a non-attendance fee policy.

  • When you need to change or cancel your appointment you must arrange this no later than 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
  • Missed or cancelled appointments with short notices will incur a fee of $50, for which Medicare rebate is not available.

Prescriptions

It is a practice policy that an appointment is necessary if you require a script. It allows your medication and health to be reviewed by your general practitioner.

Results

It is necessary to make a follow-up appointment for results of all tests and procedures. In the event of a clinically significant results, you will be contacted as soon as possible to make a follow up appointment to discuss the results with your doctor. SMS requests are sent to patient to make an appointment regarding tests results.

Reminders

Our reminder system provides a range of reminder including regular check-up and screening, immunisations, health assessment and chronic disease care plans. The system will send you a text message to your mobile phone. Please advise reception or your doctor if you wish to be excluded from this system.
